The origin of Ravenclan

Introduction
A rogue tabby with a pelt as black as a raven stares out over the burning landscape that was once his home. The world was silent; all the cries of burning souls had diminished. But suddenly, a screech peirced the quietness of the night. A raven flew up from the embers and landed fearlessly at the cat's feet. He stared into the bird's deep gold eyes before it took once more to the air. It seemed to beckon him to follow it, which he did. He followed it for days, across vast landscapes, until it brought him to a lush, prey-filled valley. A voice like crystal echoed in his mind;
"The time has come for the raven to take flight. A new life awaits you... Ravenstar."
